Healthcare hospitality organizations do extraordinary work every day, yet much of what makes that work effective remains unnamed, informal, or difficult to articulate beyond individual programs. In this Ask the Experts session, we’ll explore what it means to name what works in healthcare hospitality — and why doing so matters for learning, sustainability, and impact.
Drawing inspiration from the concept of High-Impact Practices in education, this session will introduce a way of thinking about the practices, environments, and routines that consistently support patients and caregivers during times of disruption. The conversation will focus on how shared language and intentional reflection can help organizations strengthen what they already do well, communicate impact to boards and funders, and learn across diverse housing models without forcing standardization.
This session is designed for leaders who want to move from good intentions to intentional impact — and who are interested in building a collective understanding of what truly supports patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare hospitality settings.
