Professor of Nursing at University of California San Francisco (UCSF)
Join us for a special Ask the Experts conversation with Linda Franck, PhD, RN, a nationally recognized leader in patient- and family-centered care and a professor of nursing at UCSF. Dr. Franck has dedicated her career to advancing care models that honor the lived experiences of patients, families, and caregivers, with particular attention to equity, compassion, and partnership. In this session, Dr. Franck will share insights from her research exploring how patient- and family-centered principles can be meaningfully integrated into healthcare hospitality, medical lodging, and caregiver support systems. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a thoughtful dialogue about what truly patient- and family-centered care looks like in practice, where gaps persist, and how organizations can move from intention to action.
