NHHW 2026: Why We Do This Work

Healthcare hospitality is a specific and meaningful kind of work. It asks a lot of the people who do it, and it draws them in for reasons that are often deeply personal. This session is a space to tell those stories.

HHN Board Chair and Executive Director of Brent's Place Sean Meyerhoffer opens with his own story of how he came to this field and what has kept him here. He'll be joined by two to three house members from across the network who will share theirs. What brought them to this work, what sustains them, and what they're carrying forward as they look ahead.

The final ten to fifteen minutes open to everyone. If something in the room moves you to share, the floor is yours.

In the spirit of National Healthcare Hospitality Week 2026 and our theme of Looking Ahead, this is a chance to celebrate not just what we do, but who we are as a community and why it matters.
