Meet Our Expert:
Robert Manring, Lieutenant, UNC Hospitals Police Department.
Robert began his career at UNC in 2008 with UNC’s Department of Public Safety. Since 2012, he has been fortunate enough to serve patients, visitors, students, and staff at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. Part of Robert's role in our police department includes being a Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor specializing in de-escalation and behavior management program, active shooter response, and empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to survive an active shooter incident.
Robert also presents new hire orientation twice a month for new nursing staff and is excited to share his knowledge with the HHN members.
