Dear Members,

I have been affiliated with HHN as a member, as a board member, as the board chair, and now as the Executive Director for going on twelve years. To say I believe strongly in the mission of HHN and the members we serve is an understatement.  

Since moving into the ED role in May of last year, I have had the opportunity to work with the dedicated board, committees and staff developing initiatives that will lead to increased member engagement, growth and organizational sustainability.  I believe we all understand that we have to do things differently to not only survive, but thrive as well.

Brittany, Emily, Jessica, and I started working on the launch of the new website in December 2021.  With the help of the GrowthZone team of Ariel Thompson and Jaimi Peterson, we were able to move the launch date up four weeks, to the benefit of our members.

We hope you will take the time to check out the website and then dive into the Member Center (Info Hub) and explore.  You will be greeted by a short video that will give you an idea of how to navigate the info hub and the list of upcoming events. And you can easily register with the click of a mouse!

Check out your listing and make sure it's correct. Add your photo to help our members connect faces and names. Check out our Directories listing Member Houses and our Supporting Partners and see how easy it is to search for a connection.  

Three new features are the Forums, News, and Career Opportunities.  The Forums will act like the water coolers in your offices.  A place to connect with other members and share stories, resources, best practices, and time. Some prompts have been loaded in as well as a couple videos that we thought would get things started.  Spend some time here and add your comments.

News is another new feature that will allow us to keep you updated on member business and interests.  Career Opportunities offer you the opportunity to share openings in your organizations. 

As we continue to develop this site to best meet your needs, we encourage you to share your impressions, suggestions, and even the typos you may run across.  We are a community and only as strong as the engagement of our members.

Your HHN Member Call to Action: We need your help to grow our membership and build sustainability. Over the last 7-8 years, our member numbers have been dropping, and we need to turn that trend around.  You have an easy way to refer a non-member house or Supporting Partner on the right hand side of the Home Page. Click on the "Refer Others" link to connect us with potential Member Houses or Supporting Partners.
